The Training

Snipers go to a sniper school where they learn to calculate how wind affects a bullet as it passes through the air, how to adjust to hit a moving target, how to be stealth, how to work in teams, etc..
These videos shows you how snipers prepare for combat and a glimpse of how a sniper becomes a lethal killing machine.

The Team

Snipers usually consist of a two man cell one the sniper gun man and the spotter which is equally important. It is the spotter to identify the target, calculate wind and distance, as well as other calculations that the sniper needs to adjust in his shot. But its not enough for just one to have this knowledge. On the battlefield nobody cares if your a sniper or just his spotter so it is 100% necessary for both to be able to shoot and calculate.

The Bullet

The Sniper Rifle needs a bullet special to the gun and must have speed, power, aerodynamics, and above all accuracy. The sniper is a one shot kill unit so the bullet must be able to get the target and deliver a killing blow. Here is a video that perfectly explains the importance of the bullet.

The Suit

Stealth and invisibility the most important part of a sniper's arsenal. The ghillie suit is a head to toe camouflage suit. For example snipers in forest environments will be covered with material that will resemble leaves, sticks, and grass. This makes the sniper almost completely invisible and almost impossible to spot from distances. Lets face it you can't kill what you can't see, and that is the snipers strongest point. Imagine being under enemy fire, in an open area, and your friends are being shot. Now imagine not being able to see the enemy. What do you do in this situation? Well pray. Don't believe in god? Well then I guess your shit out of luck aren't yeah?

The Rifle

The sniper rifle this tool is a sniper's best friend and every enemies worst nightmare. Getting hit by one of it's bullets could send your arm to one area and you in another in a split second. This weapon is both powerful and accurate a deadly combination. The sniper rifle comes either as bolt action such as the Cheytac Intervention sniper rifle or semi automatic such as the Barrett .50 Caliber sniper rifle. The difference between the two settings is the rate of fire. A semi automatic sniper rifle naturally shoots faster, and a bolt action sniper rifle with requires manually discarding the shell of the bullet.

The Hand Behind The Trigger

Not just anyone can be a sniper if you really think about it. You need to be patient, precise, and alert at all times. The failure of any of these skills could end in death for you and in some cases of your allies. Snipers are opportunist who must know when to and when not to pull the trigger. Of course at long ranges snipers tend to be masters of stealth, but don't be fooled not just any spot will do. The sniper scouts the land and its surrounds carefully and could end up laying in wait for his target for days sometimes laying without moving a muscle for hours.
